Requesting EPS and BP Inspector Roles

The EPS Inspector and the BP Inspector roles give users the ability to view the status of permitted work for which they have been assigned inspection-related activities, and the status of any of their reimbursable records.

To request an EPS Inspector role (for a PennDOT employee or consultant):

1.      Log onto the intranet by opening the following URL in your web browser while connected to the PennDOT network: http://dot.state.pa.us.

2.      In the menu near the top of the page, mouse over the Systems option, and then click the ECMS option.

3.      Near the middle of the page, click the "How do I request access to ECMS?" link, and then follow the presented instructions, selecting the Inspector check box in the ePermitting System group.

Users with the EPS Inspector role can access the Project Site Activities Screen, My HOP Reimbursements & Inspections Work Queue Screen, Create a Reimbursable Record, Attach an M-371A Form, and Ready a Reimbursable for Authorization.

To request a BP Inspector role (for external users with a valid ECMS Business Partner ID (BPID):

1.      Log onto the intranet by opening the following URL in your web browser while connected to the PennDOT network: http://dot.state.pa.us.

2.      In the menu near the top of the page, mouse over the Systems option, and then click the ECMS option.

3.      Near the middle of the page, click the "How do I request access to ECMS?" link, and then follow the presented instructions, selecting the Inspector check box in the ePermitting System group.

Users with the BP Inspector role can access the Project Site Activities Screen, My HOP Reimbursements & Inspections Work Queue Screen, Create a Reimbursable Record, Attach an M-371A Form, and Ready a Reimbursable for Authorization.
