Application Attachments Screen
The Application Attachments screen enables selection and attachment of documents related to an application.
All attached documents are stored in PennDOT EDMS (Electronic Document Management System).
Application Attachment Screen
The main Application Attachments screen displays general information about the application and lists all attached documents.
The screen is divided into three sections: Permanent Records, Attachments and PATA Documents.
1. Permanent Records are attachments that have been selected from the Attachments section and Archived. Archived documents cannot be deleted.
2. Standard attachments include any documents entered specifically for the current application, such as plans, correspondence and reports.
3. Pennsylvania Typical Application (PATA) documents are standard publications, identified and listed in order numerically. PATA documents are selected and attached to an application, when required.
Click Add to attach a new document. For standard attachments, the Attachment Detail screen appears to enable entry of details and document selection. For PATA documents, a Selection screen lists all available publications for selection and attachment.
Click the desired Document Type to open a document for viewing.
Attachment Detail Screen
The Attachment Detail screen is used to enter basic descriptive information about the new attachment. This information will appear in the Attachments list of the main screen.
Click the Browse button to locate documents for attachment. Select the document from the Browse window. After the document is selected, click the Attach button to attach it to the application.
